You need to see if that is getting 12VDC to it and if it clicks, what the voltage is now on that large red wire once it clicks. It could easily be a neutral safety switch. Wayne. Used my John Deere 4300 3 times today with no problems. A half hour later I went to start it up but all it would do is crank over but it would not start. I have plenty of gas and I bled the fuel system by loosening the bolt that my owners manual said to loosen and cranked over the engine to make sure there was no air in the system.
